Summer Breezy Table

Thank you for sharing!

It’s the old standby – the easy summer breezy outdoor table.  The epitome of a lazy and casual summer evening.

The tablecloth is vintage and from Etsy.

Small white lanterns from Target grace the table along side the larger lantern in the middle.

Lime green is the accent color for the table.  The flower containers match the silverware.  White vincas give a nice pop to the lime green.

The round rattan place setting is from Target, as are the white melamine plates and plastic cups.

The green picnic silverware set I purchased on Amazon.com.

I can’t remember where I purchased the napkins.  Maybe Crate and Barrel or something like that.  I tied them with a simple jute string.

Won’t you come and join us for dinner outside on the deck?

Love, hugs, and being easy summer breezy.

I am not sure what I love the most about this table setting! I think the green pops with the red, white and blue! I know I would enjoy eating here!

Hi Abby – Thank you so much, very sweet. The little white lanterns line the screened in porch in normal life. Hugs, Holly

I love those bold checked napkins with the green and red! A perfect summer table full of casual elements to keep things cool and casual on the deck!

    1. Holly

Hi Jenna – I don’t think I could do formal outside if I tried. I’m all about casual! Hugs, Holly

This is a wonderful table! I love all the colors and how well they coordinate! The green (which is my FAVORITE color) just jumps out and welcomes everyone to the table. So well done…..many thanks for sharing. Looks like a fun evening is about to begin. Rosie @ The Magic Hutch

Hi Rosie – Thank you for your kind words, and I was very excited at how well the green worked to compliment all of the blues and other colors. Hugs, Holly

  7. Bev

So pretty…that tablecloth is divine and is such a great base for this table. Lovely!

    1. Holly

Hi Bev – This tablecloth spoke to me on Etsy. Buy me! Buy me! I really do love it. Thank you for your kind words. Hugs, Holly

The buffalo check napkin is bold and I like it. The spring green of the pots and flatware (can I tell you love the flatware) is refreshing.and soothing. Fortunately we live in a location that allows us to eat outside all year long and spend many a Christmas’ in the backyard. Actually with a 960 sq ft house, most gatherings are enjoyed outside.

    1. Holly

Hi Wanda – Well the DC area is hit or miss, and it was 70 degrees on the night of our Christmas party, so everyone ended up outside. You just never know. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Holly

  9. Alycia Nichols

With that super fun and floral tablecloth, this is anything BUT the “old standby”!!! Wow…I love all the colors! You could put just about any dishes and accessories with this in your inventory and have a great table goin’ on! This would even work well for the 4th with the red, white & blue underpinnings!

I hope you guys are having much better weather there than we have been having here. I’ve not even been able to get outside to do anything! It’s just been rainy day after day. We’re hoping for a little reprieve tomorrow, and if so…I’ll be out there ‘scaping away!

    Have a wonderful week!

    1. Holly

Hi Alycia – You are so sweet, thank you. It’s such the perfect casual look for the table, it really is our old standby! Weather here in DC… hazy, hot, and humid with afternoon storms. I’ll say the same thing through September. :-) Hugs, Holly

Everything is great, but what caught my eye was the blue and white check napkins.

I have been thinking that I need some blue and white check napkins – I guess a trip to the fabric store is in the plans for today.

    1. Holly

Hi Carol – You made me happy that I inspired you! I love the blue check – it’s a different take than the traditional red check that is so popular for summer. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Holly

  11. Liz @ Infuse With Liz

This is very summery! I like the big flowers on the tablecloth (reminds me of the 70′s). I love checkered prints so I definitely like those napkins. I like how the lime green flatware plays off the print and those are cute lanterns!

    1. Holly

Hi Liz – Thank you for your sweet comments. That vintage tablecloth is one of my favorites. If we are allowed to pick favorites! Hugs, Holly

  12. Pam

Love your vintage tablecloth! The pretty flowers and lanterns present a pretty centerpiece. The green flatware complements the flower pots! have a great week!
