Pinkoweenie Tablescape

If you have been on my website or blog for a second or met me in person, you know that I have an unconventional approach to dealing with breast cancer.  Love it or leave it, that’s me!

I knew for BC Month, I would have to make a tablescape.  Not “have” to… but like paying your taxes and brushing your teeth… I wanted to… but… meh.

And then I saw The Painted Apron’s Save the TaTa’s Tablescape.

Wow.  I was humbled at her support… and enjoyed seeing a bra featured on a tablescape.  You have to go over to her blog and check it out!

Ok… I can do this… but I didn’t want to be conventional.

So here it goes… a Skulltastic Pinkoweenie Breast Cancer Tablescape.

I combined all of my favorite October design items – polka dots, stripes, skulls, and pink.  Because I can.

Hey… if Jenna can put a bra on her table… let me at least thrown down the “C-card” on this one!

How adorable are these pink skull ribbons?

Aside from the pink accents, my one token BC item was the “Hope” tervis tumbler (Love those BTW and I’m not getting paid to say that).

While you’re here be sure to visit the What’s Scarier linky party and join the fun!  Click on the button below to enter.

Love, hugs, and salute to my BC Survivors… you ladies are bad to the bone!

I just love this! I love the pink bows on the silver skulls! I have always wanted to create beautiful and/or fun table settings like this, but my family is usually so hungry, they just want to grab a plate and run to the corner to eat! I must learn from you oh great table setter!

    1. Holly

Hi Cynthia – Oh trust me, I make my family wait for meals until the tablescape pictures and food pictures are taken for the blog. They are sitting at the kitchen island clenching forks and drooling as I putter around with my photos before they can eat LOL! Hugs, Holly

  5. Judy

Hi Holly, I think keeping a sense of humor must be a healthy way of dealing with an otherwise horrible time in a woman’s life. When my mom was having chemo we found some beautiful wigs and ribbons for her hair. Luckily her hair has grown back now and she is as lively as any 90 year old! Linda

    1. Holly

HI Linda, Thanks so much for sharing and your mother sounds like quite the lady! Hugs, Holly
