DIY Flip Flops

Is there any singular item that screams summer more than flip flops?  Hummm… would that count as 2 items?  And there are sunglasses, ice cream, BBQ, …. well you get the idea.

I love my Clarks and love how Clarks have taken the quintessential “old lady shoe” and made them not only comfy but also stylish.  Sometimes though, you still need a little sometin’ sometin’.

I found some cute flower embellishments… grabbed the hot glue gun…

I mean seriously… in 60 seconds could they not be any cuter?

Love, hugs, and everything is cuter with a flower embellishment.

Such a great idea! I am absolutely going to give this a try. I have a couple pairs of sandals that I am bored with, and this is just what they need.

Hi Adrienne – You would never know there is a pair of “Old Lady Clarks” under those cute flowers. I am glad though that they are making cuter shoes recently. Hugs, Holly

I love this idea! The flip flops are super cute! Where did you find the flowers? I’m thinking it would be fun to do matching flip flops for mom and daughter(s)!!

Hi Sara – What a fun idea for mother and dauther/s matching flip flops! I picked up the flowers at Michaels but I’m sure HobLob or any other craft shop would have them too. Hugs, Holly

    OMG, how cute are those?!
It’s so funny how simple it can be to “upgrade” yourself, instead of paying out the nose to have it already done at the store! Plus when you do it yourself, it’s EXACTLY the look you want! Bonus:)

Hi Julia – You are too sweet, thank you so much! Once I turned 40, my feet started rebelling against me, and even though they are making much better “orthopedic” shoes these days, sometimes a girl needs a little embellishment! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon. Hugs, Holly
