DIY Patriotic Utensil Holder

I’m all about using a cute utensil caddy, but when hosting over 50 people for the Patriot’s Palooza Memorial Day Party, I decided to go with my own DIY Patriotic Utensil Holder.

I tried to keep it as cute as I could, but I needed a size that would fit plastic forks and spoons for a small army.  I upcycled a couple Kleenex tissue boxes – they were the perfect size!

It didn’t take long – a few pieces of scrapbook paper and a few little embellishments and some Mod Podge.

I used plain paper for two of the sides, and decorated the other two sides.

This is an easy enough craft for the kids to do.  After looking at the picture, I will probably add a little paper to the inside to lift up the forks a bit.  And glue down that last corner LOL!

What do you think?  Ready for a party?

Love, hugs, and sticking a fork in it.

Hi Bobbi – Oh you know it! As long as they will make it through being boxed and put up in the attic for the year, if they come back in one piece, we are totally reusing. Thanks so much for stopping by and pinning. Hugs, Holly
