Coco Chanel Inspired DIY Hairband Holder

Minus a few strays, my hair is finally long enough to pull back into a ponytail, and especially during the summer, it’s a daily occurrence on the top of my head.

This is what my hair box looks like… one big unorganized mess!

After last week’s DIY with the cupcake liner holder, I was left with these little plastic containers.  How perfect to hold my hair bands!

Another DIY was in order!

Hairband Holder

I started with a couple quick coats of flat black spray paint.  Worked like a charm!

These are the simple embellishments I used.  Even this DIY Clutz can figure out bling on sticker tape!

This one turned out PERFECT.

This one… Meh.

The embellishments were easy enough to take off and I started over.

Much better, don’t you think?

Love, hugs, and looking for more DIY fun.

That’s a great idea! I’m going to have to make these with Morgan. Her hair bands are all over the house.

Very Clever! Holly! They look wonderful! I wear my hair up all the time during the summer – it is like wearing a blanket on your neck in this heat! I am delighted that you shared with Home and Garden Thursday,

I love a DIY that involves storage! I really like the gems and beads – a great place to keep hairbands as I constantly lose them!
